JDi solutions has been helping local authorities with bespoke software applications since July 2002.

Working primarily in the planning arena, we have developed a number of applications in partnership with South Cambridgeshire District Council as well as providing specific database solutions for Huntingdonshire and Harlow District Councils.

In the last 2 years, our efforts have concentrated on the e-gov agenda at South Cambridgeshire.

Working closely with council staff, we have enabled the council to become a creditable e-gov performer in planning.

In addition, as a result of the deployment of JDi's e-Consultation Online software, South Cambs is the leading authority in providing its public with online access to the Local Development Framework documents and facilities to make online representations.

We believe that Local Authorities need systems which are generic, flexible and able to integrate with a wide range of CRM, GIS, DIP and back office systems. To this end, all our products have been designed to comply with e-gif standards of interoperability through the deployment of standard XML schemas for data exchange.

All our systems are provided on a managed service basis and are entirely web browser based, so there is no requirement for bespoke software installation and maintenance, costly site visits are kept to a minimum and long-term running costs are restricted to monthly service charges and bespoke enhancements.

We will further provide, on request, a complete read-only copy of any database for the purposes of querying and reporting through other packages.
