An Intro to Catherine Stone:
Bringing Tech Know-How to the Team
Before joining JDi Solutions, Catherine worked as a First Line Technician, where she provided remote support to resolve technical issues with customer devices. “It was a great introduction to working in a fast-paced, user-focused environment,” she says. “I gained a solid foundation in troubleshooting and providing clear communication.”
Supporting Clients and Enhancing Accessibility
At JDi Solutions, Catherine focuses on converting planning policy documents from Microsoft Word into accessibility-compliant HTML, ensuring content is screen-reader friendly. She also supports local planning authorities with queries, keeps our guides and tutorials updated, and assists the team with day-to-day admin.
Why Her Work Matters
“What excites me most is knowing the work we do makes a real difference,” she says. “Accessibility is so important, and I love helping local authorities engage more people on the issues that matter in their communities.”
A Positive Beat
When asked what her work style theme song would be, Catherine laughs: “Sunflower by Post Malone - it’s got a great vibe that keeps things moving forward. But if we’re racing a deadline? Definitely Till I Collapse by Eminem!”
Outside the Office
Catherine has recently taken up Muay Thai for fitness and discipline and enjoys caring for her growing plant collection. “Watching them thrive in the warmer weather has been a small but satisfying joy.”
