A big Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at JDi.

As this year draws to a close, we can reflect on some of the progress that has occurred in 2016 and the exciting new developments for 2017.

Rumour has it that Santa uses OpusConsult to ensure planning developments won't affect his route!

This year our own website has been through a much needed revamp, we have developed our interaction with clients thanks to our newsletter and social media presence, and of course there’s been the semi-retirement (he’s still lurking somewhere behind the scenes) of JDi founder Jon Dean. It also marks the first complete year for myself working for this company, having migrated from working for my local council’s web team just before Christmas of last year.

We have been delighted to welcome councils from Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the West Midlands to our client list and we have also helped to run many successful consultations over the year, with some being more challenging to get off the ground than others! It is these experiences however that have paved the way to find ways of improving our systems, improving the way we work, and finding new techniques to overcome local government challenges.

2017 is set to bring some significant improvements to our consultation system ‘OpusConsult’, much of which has been driven by the feedback you have provided us with. Although we don’t want to give away too much at this point, we know you’ll find it cleaner, more intuitive, and will ultimately love it. We do also have some other interesting projects that may come to fruition in the new year that may interest many of you, but for now we’ll keep our cards close to our chest!  Keep reading the newsletter to find out more!
